Hi, I’m Nicola!

Child and Baby Sleep Coach from Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham

I’m mum to my two lovely daughters. In my spare time I absolutely love reading and going for long walks with our dog and getting out in the fresh air. I am a qualified primary school teacher and also spend some time as a volunteer counsellor for Childline each week.

Back in 2015 when I had my first daughter, nothing could have prepared me for the sleep deprivation that I experienced. I remember feeling so lost and alone. The nights felt so long and lonely and I spent the day time in a sleep deprived haze. I wasn’t sure what to do to help her to settle better and I ended up feeling overwhelmed and confused by it all. I would constantly be looking for advice online, listen to other mums whose little ones were sleeping well desperate to find the answer as to what I needed to do. I lost my confidence and didn’t trust my own instincts.

This is why I want to work with families who are unsure of where to turn when it comes to improving sleep for their little ones. I want to be there to help, support, guide and encourage.

You do not need to deal with this on your own. My aim is that I can help families feel more rested, reassured and confident whilst we work together and beyond.

I have found myself to become really interested and passionate about the science of sleep and how we can help our little ones to get the vital sleep that they need. I’m here to be by your side we work together to come up with age appropriate strategies to support your little one. Every family I work with is provided with bespoke and tailored advice that suits your lifestyle and is supportive of individual needs and temperament.

There is so much advice out there it can make everything seem overwhelming and may leave parents unsure of how best to support good sleep. Let’s work together to make it clearer and more manageable.
